Feasibility

In the future, Personal Trainer can make use of such process maps to effectively map out their firm’s business process time lengths. Being able to effectively plan for how long a process will take often leads to more efficient operations and can be used to identify processes which are either inefficient or could benefit from an inflow of cash and productivity.

1.

Process Time Dependencies
A: Meet with Managers 5 days N/A
B: Conduct Interviews 5 days A
C: Review Records 3 days B
D: Observe Business Operations 8 days B
E: Analyze Bumblebee Software 5 days C,D
F: Study Sales and Billing Sample 2 days C,D
G: Prepare Report 1 day E,FC and D are both dependent on B being completed before either process can begin. Similarly, E and F are dependent upon the completion of C and D prior to their commencement. After E and F have been completed, the final step, G, can begin.

2. C and D are both dependent on B being completed before either process can begin. Similarly, E and F are dependent upon the completion of C and D prior to their commencement. After E and F have been completed, the final step, G, can begin

We can display these processes in two manners. The first method is a Gantt Chart. Which gives a visual representation of how the tasks flow and where they overlap. This method can be used to sync with the project managers calendar and create a visual of where progress is and where it might be delayed.

The second way they can be visually represented is through a Pert chart. The pert chart is the most effective tool because it can show the critical path of the project. This is the most used tool when determining individual task duration and project duration.
